Estimatic ("we", "us", "our") operates the estimaticai.com website and related services. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

By accessing or using Estimatic, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and shop business information (shop name, address, phone number).

2.2 Customer Submissions (Widget Data)

When a vehicle owner submits damage information through your embedded widget, we collect: vehicle year/make/model, damage location selections, uploaded photos, contact name, phone number, and optionally email address and damage description.

2.3 Usage Data

We automatically collect log data including IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent, and referring URL. We use analytics tools (PostHog, Vercel Analytics) to understand how our Service is used.

2.4 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of payment data.

• Process damage photos through AI analysis to generate repair estimates
• Deliver lead notifications to shop owners via email and SMS
• Process subscription payments and manage billing
• Send service-related communications (account alerts, product updates)
• Improve our AI models and service quality (using anonymized, aggregated data)
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these circumstances:

• With the shop owner: Customer submissions are shared with the shop whose widget was used.
• Service providers: We use third-party services (Supabase, Stripe, Resend, Twilio, OpenAI, Google AI) to operate our platform. Each processes data under their own privacy policies and our data processing agreements.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request.

Uploaded damage photos are processed by third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Google) to generate repair estimates. Photos are transmitted securely and are not used to train third-party AI models. Photos are stored in your Supabase project storage and retained according to your account settings.

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Lead data and uploaded photos are retained until deleted by the shop owner or for 24 months after account closure, whichever comes first. Usage analytics are retained in anonymized form indefinitely.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), encryption at rest, Row-Level Security (RLS) database policies, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal information
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability (receive your data in a structured format)
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
